This would be a familiar view for the girls of DCS. The picture was actually taken from Downhills Park and looks across the Junior School playground. The building on the left, of course, housed, on the first floor, the needlework and woodwork rooms.

Moving into the DCS girls' playground, this view shows the other side of the needlework and woodwork building and the HORSA hut, apparently in very poor condition by this time.
